Language Proficiency

Italian is the language used at the Conservatory. Group lessons are always carried out in Italian while instrument one-to-one lessons

can be in English depending on the teacher. Be aware that English is still not widely spoken in Sardinia. Therefore even if applicants

are not required to certify or prove their knowledge of Italian, we strongly recommend that you attend a language course before you

come to Cagliari or when you arrive in Cagliari in order to socialize, feel at ease in daily life situations and get the most out of your
